Penultimate drabble, for now. Just over an hour to finish that last one.

TITLE: Trust Being the Key
FANDOM: Buffy the Vampire Slayer,
CHARACTERS: Lisa and her Dad,
SUMMARY: When do you start trusting your kids to be what you hope you've brought them up to be? That is the question. Lisa's spent virtually her entire life, with only one role model; though her dad would say she had two. Now its time to start letting her be her own role model.
A/N: Like I said; going backwards. Timey-wimey as the man said.
“England? I can't go?”
“Didn't figure you for missing school?” Lisa shrugged, as if to say, 'Can't blame me for asking.'
Her dad grinned, “Only going a week anyway. I'll miss your birthday, but you're mature enough to be left on your own.”
She blushed when his tone made her glance up.
He knew exactly who she'd be inviting over for her birthday.
And what they'd likely be doing.
“I'm your old man, but don't think I've forgotten what being a teenager in love is like.”
She felt tears well up; knowing her was seeing her mom as he spoke.
